A much better game than the previous week, away at stupid o'clock and in drizzling rain. It was damp and dark before we even started! It went fairly evenly with some really good open play at times to keep the ball in the oppo's half. A goal from Laura meant it was 1-1 at half time. The second half saw us miss a few opportunities that looked dead certs which would have ensured a win. However, we paid the price for not shutting out their star player (back from injury!) who managed to score the second goal. Thanks to Cassie for the jelly babies - I must stop getting a sugar shot - and a big thanks to Esme for helping us out this week. Esme also got man of the Match, so hopefully the Golden Globe helped her get over the jet lag. A week in New York - then down to earth playing 4s. What's not to enjoy.....
