Brentwood vs Harpenden

Brentwood storm to a 10-2 victory:

This week at 'The Fortress', Brentwood took on Harpenden 2's, one of the teams lower in table who they knew very little about. From the start Brentwood could see this was their game for the taking and with the forward line on fine form this sasson the team knew there would be some goals to be had.
It wasn't long before the goal tally started rolling with James Duggans' first of five in the game as he slotted home from a few yards out. Ian Forbes also netted twice this weekend, with his first being an absolutely rocket which was fired into the top right hand corner of the net from the top of the D leaving the keeper stuck on his line gasping at the speed of the shot!

Debutante Steven Naven scored his first league goal for the team to make his Saturday one to remember with a scramble in front of goal where he managed to lift the ball past the keeper. Brentwood continued their assault on the traveling side into the second half and with a goal form the young Alex Haynes a few more from James Duggan and in the last minutes of the game.

Welsh international Nick Uber Hull wrapped up the goal scoring with a fantastic team goal as the score line finished at 10-2 much to the delight of the supporters ,players and management.
