The Mens 3s team is like Mercury. "a heavy, silver-coloured metal that is liquid at ordinary temperatures." They are fluid like a liquid in that the team is constantly changing. From experience, their players will tell you that generally you will meet a new team mate every week!

Saturday saw the team bolstered with "experience" or in other words "age". Not a bad thing sometimes and certainly reflected in this winning performance. The average age of the back five was over 50 years this week.

Brentwood also had youth and pace in the team who worked hard passing and moving throughout the game.

Luka scored first with a deft deflected touch of a firm pass into the D.

Someone else then scored the second but I can't remember it!

Half time and Brentwood were looking good but it hadn't all been one way traffic. Tendring are a good well organised team. They had their chances too. Arwyn in goal was on top form to pull off at least three big saves to keep the "T"s out.

Brentwood pushed on in the second half and bagged three more goals as the Tendring boys began to tire (as did the Brentwood boys!).

Player of the match this week was Ian R. Dominant in the holding midfield role and popping up late in the second half to slot himself a well executed reverse stick shot.
