Ladies 2s

This week a 10-man Ladies 2s took on local rivals, Chelmsford 3s. Chelmsford pressed hard from the off and were quickly up 2-0. Despite some excellent defending from backs Lisa (who was also MoM) and Leanne, Brentwood struggled to retain possession in order to challenge Chelmsfords’ defence. A half time team talk from supporter Mrs T saw Brentwood start the second half a lot more positive and there was a lot more attacking play from the team driven by Cat in the centre. Chelmsford used their youthful team (plus 3 subs!) to their advantage and managed to slip 3 more past the visitors on the counter attack to finish the game 5-0 to the home team.
