Short one this week I've been away. The Academy lost the game. We created loads didn't convert, they created less and did. We must cop for it.
Last night in football Liverpool played Arsenal and won on penalties after a 5-5 draw. The Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp said this after the match:
“As a manager maybe I should worry more about the goals we conceded but I couldn’t care less to be honest. I could not care less. The mistakes that we made were obvious but it’s not important. The most important thing for development is that you react in the right way. All these boys need to play in difficult football games – and it was a difficult football game. They worked their socks off and left their souls on the pitch. I really loved it.”
Make the following changes to the statement above:
- Attribute the quote to me following the Wapping match.
- Change 'manager' to captain.
- Change 'football' to hockey.
There is your match report.
Onwards and upwards.
